I am in my 33rd week and this lower back/sciatic pain is taking the fun away from my 3rd trimester! Any suggestions on how to relieve the pain without meds?

Here are a few links I found regarding Sciatic pain. Both sites recommend acetaminophen. The second link recommends you try stretches and exercises which will help to stretch/relax the nerve and surrounding areas.
My wife has had the same problem during her pregnancies, and another thing that has helped is when I massage her back, butt, thighs, and calves. (Of course, this is therapeutic for both of us). ;)

Another thing that might help is to go back and forth with heat and cold pressure. I just wouldn't leave either on too long. Hope this helps!

Anything I found that helped was relaxing in the bathtub. This really helped and I did it right before going to bed so I was able to get a good night's sleep too!

I am 30 1/2 weeks and enjoy my time with the heating pad every night...it does wonders!!! When things get really bad I ask my husband to massage my back while I lay on my side.

I've found that sitting on an exercise ball helps relieve the pressure and stretches the muscles and joints in that area. It's especially helpful when you lean over and rest your arms and head on the bed.

Thats a great idea. I also helped my wife do some stretches to try to find the one that will affect the nerve. This is what has worked for her:
Stand with your back to a surface which is about 1-1.5 feet high, flat, and sturdy. Then put the affected leg up on the surface, (for us it was a coffee table). Your toes will be down toward the table and your heel will be pointing up. Now, your leg should be bent at about a 45 degree angle. Slowly straighten your knee so that your leg straightens out. It seems posture would be logical.
This was what worked for my wife, and her pain all but disappeared when we tried this. Suddenly she could sit down without being in immense pain. Of course, if this doesn't work, then you can try out different stretches to find the "sweet spot" for yourself.
One more thing...your sciatic nerve is very large and far reaching. If you are stretching your leg, and feel it more in a lower part of your leg but not in the affected area, this may still be helpful. I look at it this way: when I'm untangling hair or untying knots, I never start from the middle. I always start from one end and work my way in. Tension/knots in muscles seem to work in a similar way.

i have been out and brought an exercise ball and find that sitting on that and bouncing (small, like on one of the space hoppers) does my back wounders, and haing a warm bath

Like everyone else i suggest a warm bath always does the trick. i am 31 weeks pregnant and i had trouble with my back before so no change now.
i also use a tens machine! my physio suggested that, i used it on the highest setting for 1 min at a time for 3 mins. I find this helps along with the bath.
