Duck 9″ Electric Laminator

I was introduced to the Duck 9″ Electric Laminator by a friend when I was trying to find ways to protect some games and pictures I was creating for my children.  It has been one of my favorite, most frequently used purchases.  I have been laminating everything that is not nailed down!  Even my three year old (who loves to help) gets excited when I bring out the laminator.

It’s great to be able to let my young children play with pieces and parts of different activities and not worry whether they’re being chewed on, torn apart, wrinkled, or destroyed in any number of other ways possible.  When I spend time on a project I want to know that it can be used more than once, or for more than one child!  I use the 3mil laminate which is very sturdy.  I have been pleased with the results of every completed project with the Duck Electric Laminator.

Pros:

-Folds up for easy storage
-Loading and Cooling Trays
-Small when open (fits easily on counter top or desk)
-Simple to use – even kids can help!
-Perfect for preserving & protecting pictures, games, etc.
-The possibilities are endless!

Cons:

-Takes about 10 min. to warm up
-Only works with laminate pouches

The least expensive pouches I’ve found can be purchased at www.laminator.com
They have a huge selection of sizes and weights.
